Webkinz World Accounts Will no Longer Expire!

DECEMBER 22, 2010 Webkinz World® has a very special gift for their millions of members—their Webkinz accounts will no longer expire!

Effective January 19, 2011, members who do not extend their accounts after one year will be able to continue to play with, and care for, all of their pets. The games, tournaments, jobs and daily and hourly activities will be open to all members, with some features limited for members with expired accounts.

"We want to make sure that all our members can always play in Webkinz World. It's that simple", explained Creative Director Karl Borst. "Your pets, your rooms and your prizes will always be accessible. We don't want kids to worry about their pets if they can't renew right away."

Karl added, "Members whose accounts expired in the past year will be able to come back to the site and start playing again. And, members who opened new accounts over Christmas last year will be able to continue to play in Webkinz World!"

"Our goal is to make it easier to discover all of the wonders and magic of Webkinz World", said Creative Director Karl Borst. "New members can be overwhelmed by the choices available on the site. By guiding them through the map, we help them learn everything there is to do. Then, as 'experts', they can play games, do odd jobs and earn lots of KinzCash!"

If a member with an expired account wants to renew their Full Membership, all activities on the site will be unlocked and accessible.

Webkinz World will continue to make announcements in the coming months that will again raise the bar for kid-friendly technology.
